ROX Hernia Center Co-Director, Dr. Kevin Brenner is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive problems of the breast and abdomen. Dr. Brenner is also a Board Certified General Surgeon and is uniquely trained to reconstruct some of the most complex abdominal problems.
Dr. Brenner received his B.S. degree at The University of Wisconsin, Madison before receiving his M.D. degree at Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Brenner completed the five year general surgery residency at RUSH University and Cook County hospitals in Chicago and then the three year Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of California, Irvine. Since that time, Dr. Brenner has been in private practice in Beverly Hills. Dr. Brenner has published extensively in peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals and has written many book chapters about important plastic surgery topics. Dr. Brenner has garnered national attention for his unique expertise and has appeared on many television programs including The Doctors, Tyra Banks, Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers, The Daily Buzz, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra and Univision.
Dr. Brenner practices the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery but is truly passionate about reconstructive and revisional surgery of the breasts and abdomen. Dr. Brenner has been working in conjunction with Dr. Daniel Marcus for years using a team approach to repair some of the most challenging breast and abdominal wall defects in Los Angeles. Because they recognized a need in their community for this type of combined approach, Dr. Brenner and Dr. Marcus co-founded the ROX Hernia Center.
